Interamerican Assistance supported its customers in 140,050 incidents during the first four months of the year

Demand for Roadside and Emergency Medical Assistance services from Interamerican policyholders remained high in the first four months of the year, as the company responded to a total of 140,050 incidents. On average, the two Assistance sectors serviced 49 calls per hour. The efficiency of these services is reflected in the net promoter score (NPS) metric, which Interamerican monitors consistently, and which mainly describes customer inclination to recommend the company to others. Total NPS – which was higher for Roadside Assistance – improved even further, standing at 81 points (almost double the international standards).

Roadside Assistance support of insured vehicles was provided in 129,890 cases. More specifically, the company handled 43,868 towing service requests, 40,254 autohelp service requests and 37,600 cases were resolved with on-site repairs, while it also repatriated 8,168 cars.

The Roadside Assistance (Helpline 1158) is offered with the Classic, Extra and Total motor insurance plans from Interamerican and Anytime, whereas transport after an accident is also included in the basic liability coverage plans. It is worth noting that the DriveON mobile app is now being used far more, as it is faster and allows users to monitor the assistance process. Another significant advantage is the company’s fleet located throughout Greece, boasting 222 privately owned vehicles at 111 service points, plus an additional 150 vehicles from 65 partners.

Interamerican also provides Roadside Assistance services to the policyholders of five cooperating companies from the Greek insurance market. The scope of its wider partnerships includes 5 motorways (Moreas, Olympia Odos, Nea Odos, Ionia Odos, Attikes Diadromes) to provide the removal of immobilised vehicles.

In the sector of Emergency Medical Assistance, which is an added value to the company’s health policy coverage, services were provided in response to 10,160 incidents during the first four months of the year. More specifically, Interamerican carried out 22 medical air transfers of serious cases and 1,949 ambulance transfers, responded to 8,187 calls to the 1010 Helpline to provide healthcare advice, and also handled 2 incidents outside of Greece. The company continues to support the residents of the islands of Hydra, Sifnos, Andros and Skyros with emergency medical air transport, through a partnership with the local governments.
