Interlife: Increase in Turnover and High Profits for Q1 2021

The Interlife SA financial results for Q1 2021 were very positive, despite the unfavourable climate created by the health crisis.

Interlife recorded a +9.20% overall increase in registered turnover (€17.95 million compared to €16.43 million in Q1 2020). More specifically, turnover in the Motor insurance sector grew by +5.54% and turnover in the other liability sectors grew by +14.53%.

Earnings before taxes stood at €8.2 million in the same period.

The company portfolio in Q1 2021 was as follows: 57.28% for the Motor insurance sector and 42.72% for the other liability sectors.

It should be noted that, according to data from the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies for the Greek insurance market, the Motor insurance sector recorded losses of -3.9%, the other liability sectors grew by +6.9%, and the overall change in turnover was +2.9%.
