The Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies (HAIC) is conducting a survey to determine premium turnover by month amongst its insurance company members. Overall, 51 insurance companies have responded, representing 94.9% of the Greek Insurance Market premium turnover in non-life insurance and 99.9% in life insurance. Of these companies, 43 are engaged in non-life insurance and 19 in life insurance.
According to the collected adjusted data, the comparison between the premium turnover statements of the above companies for January-December 2020 and those of the same period in 2019 indicates the following:
The following tables include the detailed survey results of the premium turnover in accordance with international practices, and for the Life and non-Life insurance sectors from January-December 2020, as well as their change from the same period in 2019.
