Consistently dedicated to its promise to always offer more than just insurance, Interamerican continued to upgrade its privately owned Roadside Assistance fleet and services so it can respond promptly and responsibly to serving its 1,500,000 insured vehicles. This is verified by the Net Promoter Score (NPS) of Interamerican’s Roadside Assistance customers, which came to 78 in 2022.
In 2022, Interamerican’s Roadside Assistance supported 574,600 policyholders who required help on the road, towing 274,632 of their vehicles, repairing more than 4,650 cars at the CAR POINT network throughout Greece and its main branch in Athens, and providing its new battery change service to 1,991 policyholders wherever their disabled vehicle was located.
Our qualified personnel of 350 professionals, the 1158 telephone helpline and the mobile app Drive Οn are on hand for drivers 24/7 to deal with any problem they experience with their vehicle (battery, fuel, tyres, mechanical breakdown, accident), while the 222 privately owned service vehicles (motorcycles, tow trucks, flatbed recovery trucks), which were enhanced in 2022 with 10 650 cc motorcycles, 4 4X4 vehicles, 8 flatbed recovery trucks and 5 ambulances, are at the ready at 111 service locations all over Greece, thus covering all of the country’s major road axes.
In line with the group’s commitment to Sustainable Development, Interamerican Roadside Assistance in 2022 incorporated electric bicycles into its fleet to provide specific Roadside Assistance services in Athens and enable it to leave a greener footprint with the movements of its vehicles. At the same time, as it monitors the steadily increasing number of electric vehicles, it invested in training its professional drivers on how to handle and provide Roadside Assistance to electric and hybrid vehicles with the aim of ensuring absolute safety for both the customer and the vehicle, and for the Roadside Assistance professional driver.
