Interlife: 2021 Corporate Responsibility Report released

Interlife Insurance has released its Corporate Responsibility Report for 2021, which outlines the company’s vision and actions as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and its response to the economic, environmental and social challenges of the previous year.

The report presents the manner in which Interlife Insurance engages with stakeholders, as well as its corporate governance system, its financial position and how it creates value, its contribution to the market, its human resources, the environment and society. According to the report, in 2021 the company generated and distributed a social product valued at €27.42 million, equivalent to 38.66% of the premium turnover for that period.

In prefacing the 2021 Corporate Responsibility Report with a message for social partners, Interlife President and CEO Ioannis P. Votsaridis said, among other things: “We are growing while remaining dedicated to our values, with the aim of helping to build a better, safer world for everyone. Corporate Responsibility is the qualitative feature that drives us to innovate, to achieve our goals and to develop.”

It is noted that for the report’s year of reference, the company is not subject to the legislative/regulatory framework on Corporate Social Responsibility; however, it has incorporated it into its operation to the extent that it is applicable in accordance with the principle of proportionality, and its approach to the report topic sections is guided by the GRI and ATHEX ESG indicators.
