Striving to provide the highest level of health services for its policyholders along with the best possible service, Ethniki Insurance entered into a partnership agreement with St Luke’s Hospital.
St Luke’s Hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Greece and has been operating since 1975 in Panorama, Thessaloniki, as a general, gynaecological and paediatric hospital to meet the medical care needs of patients in Northern Greece and the Balkans, offering the full range of medical and surgical specialisms.
Under the agreement, the company will provide direct coverage of hospitalisation costs and physician fees for Ethniki Insurance policyholders with an individual or group insurance policy who seek treatment at St Luke’s Hospital.
Additionally, the company will directly cover the cost of specific surgical procedures performed using robotic technology. For example, the agreement includes a number of specialised procedures, such as prostatectomy, nephrectomy for cancer or cystectomy using the state-of-the-art “da Vinci” robotic surgical system.
General Manager I. Daskalopoulos said: “With our company’s new partnership with St Luke’s Hospital, our subscribers with individual or group health insurance policies can also receive additional free benefits, such as visits and examinations in emergency situations, and significant discounts on scheduled diagnostic exams for both adults and children of up to 50% which our policyholders can take advantage of immediately.”
The partnership with St Luke’s Hospital is one more important step in Ethniki Insurance’s plan to expand and achieve new quality agreements aimed at providing the best medical and hospital care for each one of its policyholders for any health issue.
